Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku

Have you ever played Street Fighter? If you're around 25, I'm very sure that at least you've heard of it. This is a clasic. There were other fighting games, but Street Fighter set up a hole new point of view for fighting video games. Ryu and Ken, the most famous guys in these kind of games.

Yeah, yeah... If you're not a very fan of Street Fighter, you might be asking right now, 'Yeah, but what the #### is tatsumaki senpuu kyuaku?' If I ask you, 'Have you heard a Street Fighter move that sais something like 'tatatatruget'?' You'll say, 'Of course!!!' Most commonly called hurricane kick, but the sound in the game was so bad that you'd hear something like 'tatatatruget' more less. But, come on, it was 1987 when the first Street Fighter came out, so you can't expect that much. The rest, even when they had better technology, I think Capcom wanted to keep the sound, that was a cool thing in my opinion. (Note: Yeah, I know. The picture isn't Ryu doing the Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyuaku, he's doing the Sho Ryu Ken. Thing is that I couldn't find a cool pic of him doing the hurricane kick.)

It evolved in an interesting way, and each time it had something special. The best part was that Ryu and Ken got more and more different, because in the first ones, they were almost the samke character but with different shape.
  • Street Fighter
  • Street Fighter II: The World Warrior
  • Street Fighter II: Champion Edition
  • Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting
  • Super Street Fighter II: The New Chanllengers
  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo: The Ultimate Championship
  • Street Fighter II: The Movie (Very, VERY, bad!!!)
  • Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dream
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3
  • Street Fighter III: The New Generation
  • Street Fighter III 2nd Impact: Gigant Attack
  • Street Figher III 3rd Strike: Fight for the Future
There was also a EX version, the game was in 3D, but it isn't worthed to talk about that. It realy sucks. Capcom also did a crazy game called Marvel vs Capcom, where you could play with many Marvel Universe characters and Capcom characters, of course among them the Street Fighter characters, and obviously Ryu and Ken among Street Fighter's characters.

Onslaught is one of the characters in that game. He apears in all the Marvel vs [some one] sagas, and is the hardest boss to defeat. In fact, I've never defided him consciously, just luck. (Ha... I'm very bad in fighting games, I prefer RGB, shooters or strategy games, but some times I play this kind of game too.)

Any ways, my point is not to talk about these kind of games and the stories around them. And also I don't mean thata Capcom is the best company in fighting games, because SNK has its own games, and very good ones, like: Fatal Fury series and King of Fighters series.

Mmmm... You know... I don't have a point. I'm tired, I've got a lot things to do, I'm sleepy, but still I don't know how or why I was looking at pics and videos of Street Fighter, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jakie Chan, Jet Lee, X-Men, and other stuff. And I wanted to show you a very great video I found at You Tube. Watch these two little dragons.

This is what happens when you see too much martial arts movies and fighting games. I hope you liked it! Or... shoud I say 'I hope you didn't like it'? What ever... Good night!
