America vs Europe

I know that many Americans prefere Japanese cars than their own. But I still don't understand why is that they don't have European cars. Here is a little bit of the difference between an Amercian Muscle Car vs a European car.

Chrysler 300C SRT8
Engine: V8 6.1L Hemi
Power: 425hp@6200 rpm
Torque: 420ft-lbs@4800rpm

0-100 Km/h(0-60 mph) - 4.8s
Price: $40,600USD

BMW M5
Engine: V10 5L
Power: 507hp@7750
Torque. 383.5ft-lbs@6100rpm

0-100km/h(0-60 mph) - 4.2s
Price: $81,200 USD

Yeah, a little bit more expensive, but worthed. I mean, not that I have the money to buy a BMW or a 300C 'cause I don't, but there are very nice European cars around the same price as a Mazda 3, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Vectra, and so on. For example, Renault Clio, Peugeot 307 or Volkswagen Bora. They have a very good design and performance.

Well, I'm thinking what to do if I go to the US or Canada, because some people told me that there are no European cars, except the very expensive ones (such as the BMW M5).
